Our Team

Tim is founder and managing partner of Goldcrest Partners, who specialises in organisational culture and leadership. He provides advisory support to individual executives and wider organisations through boards, executive committees and management teams.

Tim started his career in the British Army, where he worked in global counter terrorism and was appointed Equerry to a member of the British Royal Family before becoming a Leadership Instructor at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Leadership is an art, not a science. When you get it right, you create positive and engaged teams and cultures.

Since leaving the army, Tim has held a number of significant leadership positions including Global Head of Leadership and Learning at global asset manager Henderson. In 2015 Tim was appointed a Fellow in Management Practice at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, where he collaborates with the Executive Education department. Tim co-authored The Balanced Leader with Roderic Yapp, which was published in November 2021.

Richard is founder and managing partner of Goldcrest Partners and works with clients in the financial services sector as a leadership advisor, executive coach and strategy consultant. He combines a broad range of expert coaching skills with an incisive commercial perspective to enable improvement in individual performance, team effectiveness and business outcomes.

Richard has deep experience working in the financial services industry. After training as an accountant with PwC, he joined Newton Investment Management as a portfolio manager where he ultimately led the UK equity team, successfully managing the flagship growth equity portfolios. He has held a number of significant leadership roles throughout his career.

I am passionate about the potential for people to learn, develop and grow. I also believe that these skills are essential to succeed in the modern workplace.

Richard has professional qualifications with London Business School, the CFA Institute and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and a registered psychometric test user with the British Psychological Society.
