Goldcrest Partners works with individuals who make an important leadership and performance contribution by combining cutting-edge coaching approaches with first-hand industry experience to focus on the small changes that make a big difference.

A professional coaching engagement focuses on leveraging
strengths and developing new ways of thinking and working
that enables key employees to fulfil their potential and rise
to the challenge of their evolving roles.

Coaching individuals to fulfil their potential and achieve career goals
  • Leadership coaching – for those who are leading the organisation, functions, regions and
teams (or those who aspire to these roles).
  • Performance coaching – for senior individual contributors who play a significant role in
    creating value for their organisation.

Goldcrest Partners coach ExCo members, leaders of regional or functional teams, senior individual contributors and those who aspire to these roles. All are engagements are specifically tailored to the individual and can range from ‘pure’ ICF competency-based coaching to mentoring as best matches the client and the coaching objectives.

Most engagements include elements of both leadership and performance coaching (as described here) along with personal coaching (as described elsewhere). We coach the whole person because the whole person goes to work. We simply focus on the different areas in the proportion and sequence that supports the individual and enables progress.

Leadership coaching

The skillset of a people leader is profoundly different to that of an individual contributor and in financial services many people are promoted into people leadership roles with limited focus on the new competencies necessary to lead people well.

At Goldcrest Partners we believe that the capabilities necessary to lead well deserve the same effort and attention as was invested in becoming a subject matter expert.

Goldcrest coaches borrow from our expertise in leadership development, alongside their own experience ‘in-role‘, to bring a deep understanding of what is required to succeed into coaching assignments. Goldcrest coaches also draw on our profiling and assessment know-how , including our proprietary range of role specific competency frameworks to enable great clarity of the direction of travel.

We work across the C-suite and with those aspiring to these roles. We articulate our understanding of each CXO role through our series of specialised coaching frameworks:
