The Brief
Our client was an executive committee member at a high-growth asset manager who was responsible for an expanded remit at a time of significant technological, operational and organisational change. The mandate was to turn around underperforming business areas that were critical to organisational success.
The Engagement
Our solution was a series of 1:1 meetings over a 12-month period where we acted as a sounding board for the client to talk things through, evaluate options and plan decisive actions to resolve a variety of challenges. The scope of issues included managing up, communicating with a globally dispersed team, elevating the competency of direct reports, changing the organisational design and having difficult conversations. The client has found the relationship to be valuable and extended the engagement as an ongoing support to enable effective leadership.
