To profile the final 2 candidates in a CEO selection process to reveal more about their motivation, ways of working and compatibility with the culture of the hiring firm.
The Engagement
Goldcrest Partners’ occupational psychologists conducted a full interview with the final candidates. The process incorporated best in class psychometric surveys and the relevant proprietary competency frameworks that Goldcrest Partners’ have specifically designed for the most senior roles in the financial services industry. The evaluations were shared with the Chair of the hiring firm in both written reports and a feedback meeting.
The Outcome
The candidates were equally matched in their ability to perform the role, but the assessment process revealed that they would likely go about it in very different ways. Both approaches had their merits, and the final hiring decision came down to which approach would best serve the needs of the hiring organisation. The hire has been successful.
