Richard Wilmot is the co-founder and managing partner of Goldcrest Partners, a leadership advisor, executive coach and expert in the fields of investor and C-Suite development.

Richard trained as an accountant at PwC before joining Newton Investment Management, where he led the UK equity team and managed flagship growth equity portfolios. During his investment career, he regularly engaged with CEOs and CFOs of public companies, honing his insight into leadership at the highest level. He has also held a broad range of senior leadership roles himself and developed a strong understanding of the part decision-making, strategy and resilience play in success.

At Goldcrest, Richard works across the business, with a particular focus on our Investor Development practice, helping clients improve thinking skills, teamwork, leadership, communication and resilience. He also contributes to our C-Suite Development practice, providing CEO advisory services, executive committee offsite facilitation and senior executive coaching to C-Suite members.

Clients appreciate Richard’s direct, yet empathetic approach, combining sharp commercial realism with a collaborative style that encourages reflection and growth. His background as a portfolio manager brings an incisive and strategic perspective to his work, enabling clients to adjust their views and find fresh ways forward.

Richard holds qualifications from London Business School, the CFA Institute and ICAEW. He is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and a registered psychometric test user with the British Psychological Society.

Clemmie Vaughan is an accomplished leadership advisor and former Group CEO with deep-rooted expertise in executive coaching, organisational leadership and strategic development.

Clemmie’s career spans more than 15 years in investment management. As Group CEO of Ruffer LLP from 2017 to 2021, she oversaw a period of significant transformation – growing assets under management, expanding the firm’s international presence, digitising operations and leading a team of 350 people. Prior to and alongside her leadership role, she maintained an active portfolio management remit, investing globally across different mandates and asset classes.

At Goldcrest Partners, Clemmie in one of our investor coaches and part of the team that delivers our flagship Developing Investment Excellence programme. She also provides advisory and senior executive coaching to CEOs and C-Suite members.

Jason Collins is an executive coach with a strong understanding of leadership in financial services, built over a 20-year career in investment management.

Jason spent 19 years at Wellington Management in a range of leadership roles across client services, trading and talent development. In the latter part of his career, Jason focused on leadership and talent development where he designed and delivered in-house coaching initiatives, facilitated workshops and supported high-potential leaders.

At Goldcrest, Jason provides one-to-one executive coaching to senior leaders. His work focuses on communication and leadership presence, helping clients develop a clear, authentic voice and enhance their impact across their organisations.

Described by his clients as earnest, attentive, reassuringly calm and grounded, Jason is committed to helping clients make positive and sustainable change through a deeper knowledge of self. He builds trust quickly, working in partnership with leaders to identify areas for growth and co-create meaningful, achievable goals.

Jason holds a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) and is accredited at Senior Practitioner level by the EMCC. He is certified in a range of psychometric tools including EQ-i/EQ360, Hogan, HBDI, SDI and Risk Type Compass.

Julia Casson is an executive coach and former investment professional who brings a unique blend of strategic insight, industry knowledge and deep coaching expertise to her work with clients.

Julia has spent over two decades in asset management, with her career spanning business management, investment strategy, risk and operations, culminating in executive positions including Chief of Staff and Chief Risk Officer. Having been a member of senior leadership teams in firms undergoing significant strategic and organisational transformation, Julia has direct experience of how to implement change whilst maintaining a business’s unique culture.

At Goldcrest, Julia is a key contributor to our flagship Developing Investment Excellence programme, which supports investment professionals to strengthen their investment skills, teamwork, leadership, communication and contribution to strategic change to ultimately help them unlock their full potential and drive long-term performance. She also works one-to-one with Executive Committee members and those who aspire to these roles, coaching them to rise to organisational challenges and successfully execute strategy.

Julia is known for her considered approach and her ability to create a space where clients feel both supported and challenged. Julia’s work is shaped by her experience of leadership in high-performing environments and a strong belief in values-led growth.

Julia is a qualified executive coach through the Meyler Campbell Business Coach Programme and is trained in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Hogan Assessments and Nancy Kline’s Thinking Partnership. She holds the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma and serves as a trustee at the Reach Academy Foundation and Arts Enterprise with a Social Purpose.

Oisin Crawley is a coach and consultant with extensive experience in the investment industry, providing him with a deep understanding of the complexities within financial services.

Oisin has more than two decades of experience as an investor, having held senior investment roles on both the buy and sell side. He was formerly Chairman of Alternative Investments for BlackRock in Asia Pacific and has worked across long-only and long-short strategies in Europe and Asia. His wide-spanning career gives him broad and nuanced knowledge of the different cultures, dynamics and expectations across the industry.

At Goldcrest Partners, Oisin works across both our flagship Goldcrest Investor Pathway programme and our one-to-one senior executive coaching practice. His focus is to identify and embed the conditions that drive high performance. His coaching and consulting engagements establish optimised processes, positive behavioural disciplines and emotionally intelligent communication.

Oisin is a CFA Charterholder and holds a degree in Oriental Languages from Cambridge University. He is completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching with Barefoot in London and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. He has also developed his own psychometric evaluation software.
